CREATIVE WORK, DIGITAL SYSTEMS + CLIENT EXPERIENCE
Case Study / Problem Solving
WHAT I WALKED INTO + HOW I IMPROVED IT.
I stepped into more than a design role. I identified friction across the studio's website, client communication and recurring creative workflow, then built practical improvements around each one.
I rebuilt and maintained the website with a clearer visual hierarchy, updated content, stronger presentation and custom front end work where needed. I approached the site as a working business tool, not simply a visual refresh.
The new experience gave the studio a more current digital presence and created a stronger foundation for communicating services, showcasing work and directing prospective clients.
I created a dedicated website inquiry experience and supported the process beyond the screen by reviewing inquiries, following up with clients, answering calls and assisting at the front desk. I also helped communicate with school contacts and administrators, including principals, when studio projects required coordination.
This connected the digital intake experience with real client service, giving inquiries a clearer entry point while helping the studio maintain communication across customers, schools and active projects.
I developed reusable PSD templates, promotional graphics and repeatable branded layouts that could support ongoing studio needs without sacrificing visual consistency.
Instead of treating each request as an isolated design task, I helped create a more sustainable visual workflow that made recurring production easier to manage.
I worked across those touch points as needed, supporting image capture and retouching, compositing, client-ready asset preparation, communication, mailing and day to day studio operations. That allowed me to solve problems with an understanding of the entire workflow rather than only my individual task.
The role strengthened my ability to connect creative execution with service, production and operations, and to make decisions based on how the work would function in the real business.

Portfolio Note
This case study presents a curated selection rather than the full body of work completed during my time with the studio. Some client imagery and project materials are intentionally excluded because of image use permissions, usage rights and client privacy considerations. A significant portion of the studio's photography involved high school students, so I have chosen to prioritize confidentiality and responsible portfolio presentation over showing every deliverable.
